I Love the Way He Adores My Skin

The room was quiet except for the faint hum of the city outside my window. The golden glow of a single candle flickered against the walls, casting a soft figure of my shadow as I leaned back into his embrace.

His hands moved gently, trailing up and down my arms, my shoulders, and the curve of my body. He wasn’t in a rush; every touch felt deliberate, like he was memorizing the map of me.

“I love how soft you feel,” he murmured, in his low voice, as if speaking to himself more than me.

My skin, freshly smoothed from Adore de Kashmere Body & Massage Oil, felt so soft and looked radiant, nourish, alive. He gently kissed my shoulder, his lips lingering there for a moment, and I could feel his smile against me.

“It’s like your skin has its own light,” he said, his hands sliding down to my waist. “It’s not just how it looks—it’s how it feels under my hands. Perfect. Like silk.”

I laughed softly, leaning into him as his arms wrapped around me. “It’s just me babe,” I teased.

“No,” he said, his tone sounding just a little more serious than before. “It’s you and how you take care of yourself, loving yourself. And I get to love every part of you for it.”

In that moment, it wasn’t just my skin he adored. It was the care, the attention I gave myself, it was my intentional self care ritual. And through his eyes, I saw my body as  beautiful, deserving of adoration—not just from him but from me, too.
