A granddaughter of a shopkeeper, raised with the rhythm of the islands coursing through my veins, I am Trini to the bone, an island girl at heart.
From the sun-kissed island of Trinidad to the streets of Brooklyn, I've embodied the essence of two worlds, seamlessly blending the natural rhythms of island living with the effervescent energy of New York City's multicultural vibe.
In my veins flows the legacy of a family tradition rooted in self-care, where brewing tropical juices and crafting skincare elixirs were cherished rituals. Despite the teasing in my high school years, I found solace in these practices, forging a path that celebrated the beauty of holistic living.
My journey took an unexpected turn as I pursued the dream of being an artiste, seeking the limelight not for fame, but to shine from behind the scenes. In the world of music and entertainment, I discovered many of my hidden talents, honing my craft and nurturing my skills.
Yet, it was the wisdom of my mother, my rock, that illuminated this path. In her final days, she bestowed upon me her blessing, urging me to pursue a dreams I had buried, maybe even forgotten, with unwavering determination.
